Karen O'Leary's Dedication Poem

Have you ever written an acrostic poem?  Whether you have or not, you may enjoy Karen O'Leary's poem!  (You may remember that Karen was the editor-in-chief of Whispers, a community for poets all over the world.)

The song is… (acrostic)

Tympany of sounds
Heralding words
Evolves a harmony

Softly spilled in verse
On the flutter of wings
New life in song
Giving artists a forum

In a tranquil haven
Sharing the song

(Dedicated to Marianne Szlyk)

By Karen O'Leary

If you'd like to visit Whispers one more time,  here is a link: http://whispersinthewind333.blogspot.com

I don't know if I've posted much by guitarist Emily Remler.  Here is her "Catwalk":  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjjkywlSMXU

Next is her earlier "East to Wes" with Hank Jones and Buster Williams: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7ws-7GdU0Y&list=PLIvQtZmuyaE2o_YklvRk_vkaVuWB4DBvf

I'll finish with her "Softly, As in a Morning Sunrise": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btc3sEHINBM

Enjoy!
